The second week of league action brought some big results across the club, with hat-tricks, clean sheets and plenty of goals to cheer about.
Women’s Hockey
- Women’s 1s battled hard in a competitive match but were edged out 2–0 by Teddington.
- Women’s 2s faced tough opposition in St Albans, going down 7–0 but continuing to build valuable experience at National League level.
- Women’s 3s stormed to a 9–0 victory over Ipswich-East Suffolk, with goals shared across the team and a rock-solid defensive display.
- Women’s 4s picked up a superb 6–0 win against Ipswich 3s, with Holly Goymour scoring a hat-trick.
- Women’s 5s hit double figures in a 10–0 win at Framlingham 2s, featuring a hat-trick for Darcey Dillon and doubles for both Amelia and Anouska Stott.
- Women’s 6s battled well for a 1–1 draw with UEA 3s.
- Women’s 7s – opposition conceded.
- Women’s 8s earned a narrow but deserved 1–0 win against Norwich Dragons 8s Dev.
- Girls Development impressed with a 5–0 victory over Pelicans, plenty of young players making their mark.
Men’s Hockey
- Men’s 1s delivered a statement 5–1 win over Bishops Stortford, led by an Alistair Haslam hat-trick.
- Men’s 2s produced a strong performance to beat UEA 1s 3–1.
- Men’s 3s fought hard in a close 1–1 draw with Ipswich 2s.
- Men’s 4s went down 7–2 to a sharp Dereham side.
- Men’s 5s came from behind to win 4–1 against Felixstowe 4 Dev, with Oliver Horsup scoring all four goals in a clinical display.
- Men’s 6s battled well but were narrowly beaten 2–1 by Norwich Dragons 4s.
- Boys Development continued their good start with a confident 3–0 win over Pelicans.
