8 Magpies girls (as part of a Norfolk under 17 squad) have just come back from an Easter tour of Holland where they managed to win a tournament in Rotterdam.

It was amazing to see the scale and passion for hockey in Holland.
The tournament we took part in was in its 25th year, just for 16-18 year olds and sponsored by Volvo.
The girls also played a full length game at another club which had 6 astros (4 of them water based) and their own indoor hall.
On Sunday we went to watch the EHL quarter finals at Rotterdam HC.
Our Dutch guide (former Bloemendal player) got us into the players lounge and arranged for the girls to meet some of the stars. Above is Teun de Nooijer (multiple Euro, World and Olympic champion plus World player of the year several times).
